How we work

  • Tell us what you expect
With the order form, you can send your requirements and expectations (loudness, air, bass, stereo... and all the elements you consider useful).

In order to identify your needs and tastes you can share your album and song's references and tell us why you like it.

By using your references we allow you to say "I love the sound of this album, I want our music to sound like that!"

If we think we don't have all the elements to start our work, don't worry. We'll contact you by email to ask for further informations and details.

Of course we strongly encourage you to ask for a free test !
  • A fully secured solution
When the order form is filled with tracks informations and your requirement, then you are redirected to the Payment section.

Payment is handled by Paypal using highly secured standard 128bit SSL encryption.

You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay for TailorMade Mastering services. You can also pay using a valid credit or debit card.

When the payment is done you're invited to upload your files

File Transfer is handled by MailBigFile using TLS encryption (Transport Layer Security). Your files won't remain in the cloud. They will only be stored in our local server.

Once payment and tracks are received we will send you an acknowledgment by e-mail.
  • Ensuring you get the sound you want
We always start the process by a mix review. It is a technical checkup and review of the client's mix. If necessary, you will receive a report with pointed out mistakes and suggested changes to make the mix sound better. Small changes during re-mixing can strongly improve the final master.

Then we'll master three representative tracks of the album (2 for an EP) and send the result back to you to get your return. We'll work closely with you and master each track up to three times to ensure we meet your requirements and that you enjoy the results.

When you're happy with the sound we'll master the entire album/EP giving you the opportunity to alter and amend each track twice.

Finally we send you the last version of the mastering with High Quality encoded files and a DDP image for manufacturer.
